Results of a Symposium

The Kentucky Diabetic Retinopathy Group

Abstract
• A symposium was held in Lexington, Ky, that resulted in state-of-the-art current management recommendations or guidelines regarding eye care in patients with diabetes mellitus. These guidelines have been endorsed by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and are presented in a 10-point outline.
