I have just read, with some disbelief, the article by Eskinazi1 that was recently published in the ARCHIVES. It is disturbing that it was accompanied by no commentary. The only commentary that I could identify in the same issue of the ARCHIVES was a letter to the editor2 discussing systematic research in alternative medicine (basically it is nonexistent).
I can only assume that we are to validate or invalidate the information provided by Eskinazi on our own. By providing a forum without commentary, the ARCHIVES seems to be advocating this position.
I will not go into a point-by-point discussion of Eskinazi's article, but overall the science is poor and the logic tortuous.
