A Follow-up to "A Jewish Physician Amidst the Holocaust"

I am writing to share with readers some of the comments I have received
in response to the recently published article, "A Jewish Physician Amidst
the Holocaust."1 Dr Tomas Spenser, FRCGP,
has informed me that an educational program called Physicians,
Medicine, and the Holocaust has been initiated in Israel, sponsored
by the Faculty of Medicine at The Technion, Haifa, and The Ghetto Fighters'
Museum of the Holocaust and Resistance at Kibbutz Lohamei Haghetaot, Western
Galilee. The program aims at teaching medical students and physicians the
history of physician behavior (positive and negative) during the Nazi era
while stressing the ethical implications for physicians' daily work in our
time. Readers who are interested in learning more about the curriculum and
especially those who have information they could add to the archives of the
program are encouraged to contact Dr Spenser at Kibbutz Sasa 13870, Israel
