We thank Cohen for his interest in our study1 and his useful comments. The first issue he has raised is regarding the bowel preparation that the patients received in our study. During the study period, our center routinely used OSP solution for the colonoscopy preparation. None of our patients received OSP tablets.

The second issue Cohen raised is regarding the dosing of OSP for the procedure. As per the instructions that were handed out to the patients, the first 45-mL dose of was to be ingested in the afternoon on the day before the procedure. The second dose was scheduled at 6:00 AM on the day of procedure or 3 hours before the procedure, whichever was earlier. This was consistent with the recommended time gap of 12 hours between the 2 doses.
