Error in Cutoff Points

Arch Intern Med. 1999;159:1176.

In the article titled "Price of Adaptation–Allostatic Load and Its Health Consequences" by Seeman et al published in the October 27, 1997, issue of the ARCHIVES (1997;157:2259-2268), the lowest cutoff points listed on page 2261 were incorrect. The correct cutoff points are as follows:

Lowest HDL cholesterol level (<=1.45 mmol/L [<=37 mg/dL])
DHEA-S level (<=2.5 µmol/L [<=350 ng/mL])
