In the Original Investigation by Watson et al titled "Lower Risk of Thromboembolic Cardiovascular Events With Naproxen Among Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis" in the May 27 issue of the ARCHIVES (2002;162:1105-1110), the term no naproxen was incorrectly defined. On page 1106, in the third paragraph of the right-hand column of the "Subjects and Methods" section, the correct definition should have read " . . . no naproxen was no prescription with an end date less than 365 days prior to the index date."
