In the Review Article by Messerli et al titled "Do Thiazide Diuretics Confer Specific Protection Against Strokes?" published in the November 24, 2003, issue of the ARCHIVES (2003;163:2557-2560), in Table 2 on page 2559, the comparative treatment for the ALLHAT Study should have read "Chlorthalidone vs amlodipine."
