Error in Abstract in: Acupuncture for Subacute Stroke Rehabilitation: A Sham-Controlled, Subject- and Assessor-Blind, Randomized Trial

Arch Intern Med. 2005;165:2687.

Error in Abstract: In the Original Investigation by Park et al titled "Acupuncture for Subacute Stroke Rehabilitation: A Sham-Controlled, Subject- and Assessor-Blind, Randomized Trial," published in the September 26 issue of the ARCHIVES (2005;165:2026-2031), an error occurred in the abstract on page 2026. In the "Results" section, the last sentence should have read as follows: "Post hoc analysis by baseline severity showed a greater improvement in leg function in the subgroup with baseline Barthel score less than the median (median score, 6): 22 points (IQR, 0-37) vs 0 points (IQR, 0-4) in the acupuncture and sham control groups, respectively (P = .02)."
