Arch Intern Med. 2005;165:551.
Error in Editors Note. In the Editors Note that appeared with the article "The Effects of Cyclooxygenase-2 [COX-2] Inhibitors and Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Therapy on 24-Hour Blood Pressure in Patients With Hypertension, Osteoarthritis, and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus" (2005;165:161-168), the word "former" was used instead of the word "latter." The corrected sentence reads as follows: "The 4 articles on COX-2 inhibitors in this issue of the ARCHIVES demonstrate continued reason for concern about adverse cardiovascular effects of both rofecoxib and celecoxib (though less so for the latter) as well as serious concern about the apparent overuse of these drugs in the prescription marketplace."
