This comprehensive book is based on the exhaustive experience of the main author and a group of eleven co-workers. It justly conceives of clinical neurology as an integral part of internal medicine. It enlightens the reader by emphasis on careful anamnesis and critical evaluation of the results of the neurologic examinations with stimulating and all-inclusive discussions. Abstracts of pertinent histories, charts, photographs, and tracings amply illustrate the chapters. The book is based on sound pathophysiological principles; it considers well the relation of neurological to internal diseases, and is destined to elucidate the pathogenesis of many of the, as yet, poorly understood neurologic disease entities. It is well written and organized in the broad approach of German teaching. The book is divided into five sections which contain many subdivisions.
