This excellent monograph on bronchography is a compilation of many facts drawn from the wealth of the author's experience with this diagnostic tool.
The introductory chapter is a concise description of a technique of bronchography, anatomic landmarks, and the potential hazards of the examination. The remainder of the book deals with the bronchographic findings associated with foreign bodies, malignancies, granulomatous lesions, pneumonia, asthma, bronchitis, and bronchiectasis. There is an excellent correlation of these pathologic processes with the patient's clinical history, physical, laboratory, and bronchographic findings. The reproduction of roentgenograms is excellent. A short bibliography is appended.
