The ARCHIVES OF INTERNAL MEDICINE is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Richard V. Ebert to its Editorial Board. Doctor Ebert comes to this position with a distinguished record of accomplishment. He is now head of the Department of Medicine at the University of Arkansas, having assumed that position in 1954. He received his undergraduate medical education at the University of Chicago Medical School, then served his internship at Boston City Hospital and residency at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston. After two years as a research fellow at Harvard, he became associate professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota and was promoted to professor in 1949. While he was at Minnesota, he was chief of the Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis. In 1953 he came to Northwestern University, again as a professor
