The book is well written, and the publication of the discussion at the end of each paper is of value. The material presented brings out different ideas and attitudes that are usually discussed in journals and texts in this country.

The biochemical approach to the diagnosis of cervical malignancy is discussed and certainly is a field that merits further investigation.

The morphology of the cervix in reference to aging is of interest and may be a guide to easier diagnoses and to fewer false-positive tissue studies when the cytological examination has revealed suspicious abnormality.
