The disarming title of "Opuscula Medica", little opera, or small works if you prefer, will not mislead the alert clinician who is aware of the ability of Perry Pepper to display for our illumination the clinical lore and wisdom he has cultivated with the years and which he expounds here in a number of collected and reprinted essays and speeches for the delectation of the perceptive. This collection was privately printed and I can't tell you how to get it, but I would recommend that you try everything short of stealing. It is a most admirable collection. If you can't manage to find a copy, borrow one from a friend and look up the papers. They run a gamut ranging from The Ingenious Man, a discourse to the McGill students given 25 years ago, to The Importance of Detail in the Art of Care of the Patient.
