This is an age of too many books, and this little book adds nothing basic to the field of electrocardiography or to its teaching at a specialized level. The diagrams help in the explanation and make for easy reading. They are almost necessarily not original. The text is sketchy and lacks clarifying detail.

The book is recommended as an introduction to the medical student or resident embarking on the study of electrocardiography and the general practitioner who may have memorized patterns and now wishes quickly to acquire a background in fundamental electrocardiography. . . .
