There are certain aspects of vascular disease which cannot be illustrated clearly except by the use of color. The same is true of many clinical situations in which the skin is the site of disease. Foley and Wright have gathered together an atlas which deals with the diagnosis, management, and to some extent the natural history of a wide variety of vascular lesions. These include lesions of the arteries, veins, lymphatics, vasospastic disorders, aneurysms, diseases of small vessels, and blood vessel tumors. The clinical descriptions are rather cursory, but this is not supposed to be a textbook. The illustrations are for the most part exemplary, though in my copy some of the plates have slipped and one color or another is dislodged from proper centering, and the message is lost.
