Between the barrage of the throw away journals, the house organs, so-called, and the orthodox medical compilations which are pure cultures of statistics, it would seem surprising if any small datum could escape being exposed to view and buried again many times over. No doubt this is true. There are millions of medical facts. Now to shift gears for a moment, I do not believe it is possible for any family with their wits about them and even a tiny modicum of curiosity to get along without the World Almanac. If you read it carefully it will tell you who did not sign the Declaration of Independence, the year so and so came nearest breaking the record for the most home runs in the American League, the area of Kansas, or the official flower of Iowa if it matters to you.
