Occasionally people are kind enough to call a book to my attention. Some send me a copy of some of their work for review. A review sometimes stirs up interest especially when a book is privately printed and it does not get much word of mouth boosting. Privately printed books may be excellent. Obviously a few would never be printed except when underwritten by the author. This may be because of intrinsic lack of merit or because the topic is one far enough away from the center of general interest to appeal only to a select few. Haerem's book which he himself mentioned might be considered a sneaky device for getting his doggerel into print, is a sensible review of a lot of the everyday problems that people have.
