This book of verse, mostly melancholy, was published in England by the author, who lives in Little Rock, Arkansas. He feels the poetic anguish of modern dehumanization whether it be in medicine, in war, or in daily life as mass man becomes characterized more and more by the shared lowest common denominator. The workmanship is not always sure and the verses are uneven, though some are moving and give indication of suffering, of frustration, and of a clear perception of human needs.
