CORRECTION

Arch Intern Med. 1963;112(2):261.

Since this article does not have an abstract, we have provided the first 150 words of the full text PDF and any section headings.

Because of a transposition of lines the first paragraph on page 674 of the May, 1963, issue of the ARCHIVES was incorrectly printed. The paragraph should read as follows:

In this Zebulun territory (the issue of December, 1962) I quoted the explanation of the origin of the word veronal as given to Dr. A. Benedict Schneider, of Cleveland, by his old teacher, Prof Reid Hunt of Harvard, and added the further gloss sent along by Dr. Harry G. Moss, of New Haven, Conn. It appeared to be established beyond doubt that the name was derived from the city of Verona under somewhat serendipitous circumstances. Dr. Schneider has been pursuing the matter further and writes as follows:
