Albert I. Mendeloff, MD, has had a distinguished career as a teacher, investigator, and administrator, as well as a clinical gastroenterologist. His training and experience in broad fields of nutrition, metabolism, and gastroenterology make him eminently suited for work as a member of the Editorial Board of the ARCHIVES. For more than ten years, he has been Physician-in-Chief with the Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and is Director of the Division of Gastroenterology and Associate Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In addition to his experience as a clinician and teacher, he has been a member of the Editorial Board of Gastroenterology, the official journal of the American Gastroenterological Association. We take pleasure in welcoming him as a new member of the Editorial Board of the ARCHIVES.—Ed.
