This is an excellent text on the subject of bone marrow transplantation. Most of the current body of knowledge is well summarized and amply referenced. The chapters are easy to read and progress in a logical sequence. The book is not too long and can be read from cover to cover in a reasonable length of time. It also serves as a good shelf reference. All in all, I feel that it is a worthwhile contribution and should be in every medical library where bone marrow transplantation is considered in the course of the practice of medicine. It also represents an excellent supplementary text for students of hematology and medical oncology.
