In the article entitled "Differences in Urinary Albumin Excretion Rate Between Normotensive and Hypertensive, White and Nonwhite Subjects" that appeared in the February 1992 issue of the ARCHIVES (1992; 152;373-377), the following sentence should be added to the legend to the Figure on page 375: "Open bar indicates white subjects; solid bar, nonwhite subjects." On page 376, in Table 5, the following footnote symbols should be added under the stub heading "Characteristic": "Fasting blood glucoset" [and] "Plasma renin activity." Therefore, the following footnotes should be added beneath the footnote "^*SE indicates standard error": "Indicates milligrams per deciliter" [and] "Indicates nanograms per milliliter per hour." . . .
