In the article entitled "Decisions for and Against Resuscitation in an Acute Geriatric Medicine Unit Serving the Frail Elderly" that appeared in the March 1992 issue of the ARCHIVES (1992;152:561-565), an error appeared in the punctuation of the sentence on page 561, second column, lines 22 through 24. The sentence appeared as follows: "In contrast, some physicians are expressing interest in withholding care, which is not indicated or medically beneficial.³" The sentence should have appeared as follows: "In contrast, some physicians are expressing interest in withholding care that is not indicated or medically benefical.³" . . .
