Incorrect Statement of the Relation Between Microunits of Insulin and Nanograms of Insulin:
• In the article entitled "The Molar Ratio of Insulin to C-Peptide: An Aid to the Diagnosis of Hypoglycemia due to Surreptitious (or Inadvertent) Insulin Administration" that appeared in the March 8, 1993, issue of the ARCHIVES (1993;153:650-655), an incorrect statement was made. On page 653, in the first column, the fourth and fifth lines should have read as follows: "... that 25 [not "1"] µU of insulin is equivalent to 1 ng of the hormone..."
