Golden's description of his own experience relative to herpes simplex labialis followed by recurrent Stevens-Johnson syndrome appears consistent with the description of our patient,¹ so is the response to prednisone. His suggestion that the oral lesions appearing after the lip lesions were part of the Stevens-Johnson syndrome is very reasonable.
