In the Original Investigation entitled "Tuberculous Meningitis Among Adults With and Without HIV Infection," published in the August 12/26, 1996, issue of the ARCHIVES (1996;156:1710-1716), incorrect cerebrospinal fluid protein levels were reported in Table 3 on page 1713. The correct levels are (1) for the entire group: median, 1.75 g/L; mean, 3.29 g/L; range, 0.33 to 21.00 g/L; (2) for patients who had test results positive for the human immunodeficiency virus: median, 1.75 g/L; mean, 3.54 g/L; range, 0.33 to 21.00 g/L; and (3) for patients who had test results negative for the human immunodeficiency virus or who were not tested: median, 2.02 g/L; mean, 2.80 g/L; range, 0.64 to 21.00 g/L. . . .
