Probably no textbook has played as important a part in the recognition and development of pharmacology in this country as has Cushny's. Workers in this field and in therapeutics will therefore welcome this latest edition, which has been revised and brought up to date by Edmunds and Gunn.

The general plan of the work has not been at all altered. The chief changes in the new edition are the insertion of the drug descriptions and dosages of the tenth United States Pharmacopeia, and alterations or extensions of the text to conform with progress in pharmacology and therapeutics.
