This is a beautiful reprinting of the papers by Richard Bright on renal disease. As a result of Bright's presentation on the subject of renal disease, the medical profession first began to differentiate various types of dropsy. The contributions of this truly great man in 1827 were fundamental, and therefore the book is of tremendous historical value.
