There seems to be a worldwide movement afoot to educate the physician in general practice. A few years ago small books on various practical topics designed to appeal to the general practitioner were published in both France and Germany, and now a series on general practice is forthcoming from Great Britain.

In the latter part of 1934 and during the early months of 1935 there appeared in the British Medical Journal a group of articles dealing mainly with treatment and written by well known teachers. Later these articles were assembled in book form and published under the title, "Treatment in General Practice." There were two volumes. They were put out by H. K. Lewis and Company. They were well printed, of convenient size to fit into one's pocket and extremely readable. They were popular, too.
