Most physicians reading psychiatric literature soon become lost in a morass of terminology and are unable to make much sense out of the technical material. Dr. Barker's little book gives to the reader not specially trained in psychiatry a concise and stimulating account of the methods and results of dealing with the common psychoneuroses encountered by the physician in general practice. The authoritative touch is evident throughout; probably no one in the country has better results in practice with the neurotic patient than does Dr. Barker.
