The Herman M. Biggs Memorial Lecture.

—Dr. James S. McLester, Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama, Chairman of the Council on Foods and Nutrition of the American Medical Association and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Medical Nutrition of the National Research Council, delivered the Herman M. Biggs Memorial Lecture on Thursday, April 2, at Hosack Hall, the New York Academy of Medicine, under the auspices of the Committee on Public Health Relations.

His subject was "Nutrition and the Nation at War."
