This little book, handsomely printed and illustrated, is an elaboration of the author's Beaumont Lecture on renal lithiasis. A considerable portion of the text is devoted to reports of the animal experiments on which the author bases his view that vitamin A deficiency plays a major role in the development of certain types of renal stone.
