—Dr. Nathan S. Davis III, of Chicago, assistant professor of medicine, Northwestern University Medical School, has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award of the Mississippi Valley Medical Society, consisting of a gold medal and a certificate. The citation in connection with the award reads: "A high type of physician, an able clinician, a very accurate investigator and, last but not least, a writer of syndicated medical advice for the public.
