In his preface the author states that this book is the result of a need for the collection between two covers of the information on the vascular responses in the extremities which has accumulated in widely scattered journals. He has accomplished his task in noteworthy fashion and has produced a comprehensive monograph, extensively documented, dealing with all phases of the subject. Methods and clinical applications are thoroughly dealt with, and anatomic, physiologic and pharmacologic information is interpreted in its relation to disease.
