The McGregor Fund is an interesting fund, established in 1925 by an imaginative philanthropist and his wife. Two years ago the trustees of this fund decided to hold a three day conference on psychiatry and the war under its auspices as an educational project of great general interest and importance. This volume is the result.

The conference must have been most interesting to attend. A wide range of subject matter was covered, including discussions not only by psychiatrists but by psychologists, neurologists, surgeons and internists. The general purpose of each discusser was to consider the basic topic for which the meeting was called from his own viewpoint. There was a galaxy of stars.
