In the article by Major Robert M. Finks and Captain Richard W. Blumberg entitled "Epidemic Hepatitis With and Without Jaundice: Some Clinical Studies on Two Hundred and Fifty-Five Patients Among Troops in a Combat Zone" in the August issue (ARCH. INT. MED.76:102, 1945), sixteen lines from the bottom of the first column on page 110 1.74 mg. of bilirubin should read 174 mg. In the second column of the same page, fifth line of the second paragraph under "Pathologic Data," the word "red" should be "green."

In their proof, which was returned after publication of the article, the authors added the following statement to the fourth new paragraph in the second column on page 111:

"The various tests of hepatic function, such as hippuric acid synthesis and sulfobromophthalein excretion, although used in only a few cases, seemed to be of definite value in diagnosis of this syndrome." . . . [Full Text PDF of this Article]
