ANEURYSM of the pulmonary artery is a type of lesion encountered infrequently. Boyd and McGavack1 reviewed the literature from 1833 to 1939 and reported 139 cases. Additional ones have been published by Hartwell and Tilden,2 by Thompson3 and by Breslin, Solway and Eisen.4
This paper reports a case in which an aneurysm of the right pulmonary artery of more than 10 cm. in diameter developed within a period of three months and was associated with thromboangiitis of both pulmonary arteries and veins.
REPORT OF CASE.
The patient, a white man 27 years old, was inducted into the United States Army in the spring of 1941 but was discharged two months later because of a perforated ear drum.
