This book contains eight essays which deal with medical research and its importance. Each essay is well written and is apparently designed for nonmedical rather than for professional use. This is the kind of a book that hospital or university trustees should read, and it should be presented to public-spirited citizens who might wish to learn about modern medicine and its aspirations.
The concluding chapter discusses medical photography. Anyone will find this chapter interesting.
