Urology Award.

— The American Urological Association offers an annual award of $1,000 (first prize $500, second prize $300 and third prize $200) for essays on the result of some clinical or laboratory research in urology. Competition shall be limited to urologists who have been in specific practice for not more than five years and to residents in urology in recognized hospitals.

The first prize essay will appear on the program of the forthcoming meeting of the American Urological Association, to be held at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, May 16 to 19, 1949.
