New Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Investigation.
—The first issue of The Scandinavian Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Investigation, a quarterly edited for the Scandinavian Society for Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Physiology, has just appeared. The editors state: "The scientific material which will be published in the journal must be closely associated with clinical research and must be based on laboratory investigations. Research executed on the basis of clinical statistics and casuistics will thus fall outside the scope of the journal....
"The journal will also include a short practical section where technical details, short surveys of subjects important from a practical standpoint, description and evaluation of new apparatus... will be published.
"It is the hope of the Editorial Board that 'The Scandinavian Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Investigation' will be able to accomplish the task outlined above and in this way help to support the evolution and progress
