Dr. Movitt has done a fine job in carefully and painstakingly bringing together this admirable summary of current knowledge of jaundice. The material is well arranged, critically appraised and nicely illustrated. There are useful reference lists. The book really has a wider scope than the title implies, since the anatomy and physiology of the liver and the bile passages are dealt with and all the various disorders with which jaundice may be associated are described.
