American Heart Association Grants-in-Aid.

—The American Heart Association has announced that applications for Research Grants-in-Aid, including grants to basic sciences, may be filed up to Dec. 15, 1950.

Grants-in-aid are available to nonprofit institutions possessing the requisite basic facilities for research and having the necessary experienced investigators on their staffs. They are designated for a specified program of research.

Course in Diseases of Endocrine Glands.

—The Michael Reese Hospital Postgraduate School will offer a course in Diseases of the Endocrines, Physiology and Diagnostic Methods, from Sept. 18 through 29, 1950.
