When it comes to fine bookmaking we can well take a leaf from our English colleagues. Their high standards are exemplified in the present volume, which is beautifully printed on fine paper and superbly illustrated with many excellent charts, diagrams and reproductions of electrocardiograms and roentgenograms. The text is concise and, especially for the student, the simple and precise method of discussion will be found useful. The sections on therapy are however disappointingly brief and indecisive.
