This book should be most useful to anyone interested in the use of biologic methods in nutritional studies. The first chapter gives an excellent and concise presentation of the general principles which govern procedures of biologic assay and should be essential reading for the novice in the field. The main portion of the book is devoted to detailed discussion of methods for the determination of vitamin A, thiamine, ascorbic acid, vitamin D and vitamin E.
