This book is intended to serve as a laboratory guide for the actual interpretation of smears of material obtained from various sources when carcinoma is suspected.
The material for the text was accumulated over a seven-year period, during which numerous smears from 9,700 cases were examined in Vincent Memorial Hospital Laboratory.
