ANNOUNCEMENTS

International Congress of Dietetics.

—The First International Congress of Dietetics will be held from July 7 through 11, 1952, in the Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Persons who are interested are requested to apply for further details to Miss Diane J. Ten Haaf, General Secretary, Executive Committee, 13 Pomonaplein, The Hague, Netherlands.

International Congresses on Chest Diseases.

—The XII Congress of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and the II International Congress on Diseases of the Chest, sponsored by the Council on International Affairs, American College of Chest Physicians, will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Aug. 24 to 30, 1952. Both Congresses will be held under the presidency of Prof. Manoel de Abreau; Dr. Reginaldo Fernandes will serve as General Secretary. The Honorable Getulio Vargas, President of Brazil, has accepted the Honorary Chairmanship of the Congresses.
