A list of papers published from the Steno Memorial Hospital and Nordisk Insulinlaboratorium since the preceding list in Volume 1, 1946, but not appearing in these "Reports."

A dramatic conclusion resulting from Dr. Hemmingsen's contemplation of energy metabolism is that if a homothermal animal weighing 3 tons were to have the same standard energy metabolism per kilogram of body weight as a rat its surface temperature would have to be above the boiling point of water. . . .
