ANNOUNCEMENTS

Seventeenth Annual Convention of the National Gastroenterological Association.

—The National Gastroenterological Association will hold its Seventeenth Annual Convention and Scientific Sessions at the Hotel Statler in New York City on Oct. 20, 21, and 22, 1952. Included in the program will be a Symposium on Liver Diseases, a Symposium for the General Practitioner, a Symposium on Bleeding Esophageal Varices and the Problems of Portal Hypertension, and a panel discussion on "Gastrointestinal X-Ray Methods, Diagnosis and Treatment." Immediately after the convention, on Oct. 23, 24, and 25, 1952, the Association will conduct its Fourth Annual Course in Postgraduate Gastroenterology at the Hotel Statler in New York City.
