ANNOUNCEMENTS

Fundamental Advances in Internal Medicine.

—The University of Minnesota will present a continuation course in Fundamental Advances in Internal Medicine for Internists at the Center for Continuation Study Feb. 15 to 17, 1954. Basic concepts in the fields of infectious disease, gastroenterology, and hematology will be discussed. The faculty will include Dr. Walter Lincoln Palmer, Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Chicago School of Medicine, and Dr. David Shemin, Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York. Dr. Shemin will also present the annual Journal-Lancet Lecture on Feb. 16. The course will be presented under the direction of Dr. Cecil J. Watson, Professor and Head, Department of Medicine, and the remainder of the faculty will be made up of members of the University of Minnesota Medical School.
